Mondays in June were never built for restraint. Hot pies cracking open at the seams, cold tinnies landing faster than expected and somebody already lining up for round two before the first bite’s finished. Whitehart and Wonder Pies have the cure for whatever the weekend left behind.

HARTBEATS LIVE JAZZ IS ON EVERY SUNDAY
Every Sunday in June, HARTBEATS takes over Whitehart with an afternoon and evening built around live jazz, deep grooves and the kind of music that rewards staying a little longer than planned. The drinks are flowing, the conversations settle in and the soundtrack gradually shifts from laid-back afternoon listening to something a little deeper as the day unfolds.

Each week begins with a featured live performance, bringing soul, jazz and improvisation into the heart of the city.
FROM 5PM NHTV DJs take over, guiding the room from afternoon into evening with a blend of jazz, soul, broken beat and everything in between.
SET 2 | 7PM – 9PM Amin Payne & Guest step in for the evening session, stretching things further with live musicianship, groove and experimentation.
FROM 9PM Taijae (CDMK) closes the night, keeping the records spinning well into the late hours.
Whether you're dropping in for a drink, catching a set or settling in for the entire journey, HARTBEATS is where Sundays find their rhythm.
Glizzies
On Saturday 20 June, the grills fire up from 2pm as Glizzies takes over Whitehart with hot dogs, cold drinks and a soundtrack built to carry the whole thing well into the night. No complicated concept. No fine print. Just a simple pursuit of pleasure wrapped in a bun.
The Glizzies start rolling out from 2pm and keep coming until sold out, while DJs take over from 4pm with Dazed, Maccy, Cuddles, Heni, Jarman and a live set from Firewerk steering the afternoon into something far less predictable.

Takoyaki Rokuzaemon Pop-Up
For one night, the scent of Osaka drifts through Whitehart.
Takoyaki Rokuzaemon takes over the grill on Friday 26 June, serving fresh Osaka-style takoyaki from 5pm.
Watch the batter hit the grill. Smell the dashi in the air. Grab a drink and settle in while the city rushes around somewhere beyond the laneway.
Hot off the plate and available until sold out.

Código 1530 Cocktail Comp
On Sunday 28 June, Whitehart and Código 1530 Rosa hand the bar over to some of Melbourne's finest bartenders for a head-to-head battle fuelled by tequila, ambition and the faint hope of glory. Armed with Código 1530 Rosa, competitors will shake, stir and improvise their way through a day of original cocktails, big flavours and split-second decisions made under pressure.
The rules are simple enough. Make something unforgettable. Impress the judges. Win the crowd. Try not to lose your nerve.
For everyone else, it's a front-row seat to the chaos. Expect cocktail specials, flowing margaritas, good music, questionable levels of confidence and plenty of agave-fuelled energy as the competition unfolds throughout the afternoon and into the night.
Whether you're backing a bartender, chasing your next favourite drink or simply looking for an excuse to spend a Sunday somewhere more interesting, this is the place to be.
